Ceramic dices in 4 different colors
Dice have been used for games, gambling, and fortune-telling for thousands of years. Originally made from sheep or goat ankle bones, they were used in the ancient game “astragalizein” (knucklebones).
This colored 4-piece set is inspired by ancient dice designs. In Messinia’s early history, Cresphontes, a descendant of Heracles, famously used trickery with dice to claim the fertile region during the Dorian migration, as noted by Pausanias.
