TREA Greek Pine Honey, with a golden-brown color, has a classic, slightly earthy flavor and mild sweetness. The honey is collected between September and November from areas with pine trees in Evia and Halkidiki. Once harvested from the hives, the honey is constantly evaluated as to its composition and quality. It is the elevational diversity gradient between 800 m and 1300 m which gives the honey its unique taste and aroma. After being extracted from the combs, the honey is stored in large tanks before being cold packed by hand without the addition of artificial additives or flavorings.
TREA Honey is notable for its vitamins, minerals and phenolic compounds. High in antioxidants, it has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that are conducive to good health and support the defense mechanisms of the immune system.
