TREA Extra Virgin Olive Oil–Koroneiki is produced from the acclaimed Koroneiki variety olives that grow in abundance in Messinia. Hand - harvested, from old trees grown in the seaside groves of Messinia. TREA’s olives are transported in plastic crates to preserve their quality and are taken to the mill within hours of picking, in order to maintain all beneficial characteristics. The olives are immediately cold pressed and malaxed less than 20 minutes in order to preserve their spicy flavor and distinct aroma. Our Koroneiki Extra Virgin Olive Oil is stored in small stainless steel tanks with nitrogen (N2) gas feeding equipment and cooling jacket coverage to maintain temperature stabilization and preservation. Due to our strict production methods it is always high in Polyphenols and under 0,5% in acidity. Always with legal percentages on labels.
