TREA Organic Extra Virgin
Olive Oil–Koroneiki is produced from the acclaimed Koroneiki variety olives
that grow in abundance in Messinia. Hand- harvested, from old trees grown in
the seaside groves. The olives are being transported in plastic crates to preserve
their quality and are taken to a nearby mill within hours of picking, in order
to maintain all beneficial characteristics. The olives are immediately
cold pressed and malaxed less than 20 minutes in order to preserve their fruity
and spicy flavor and distinct aroma. Due to our strict production methods,
TREA’s Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil maintains its polyphenols high,
while acidity is under 0,4%. Without chemical mechanical means, this selected
variety is carefully gathered at specific areas that producing only this
variety.
