TREA Greek Forest Honey, with a golden-brown color, has a robust, woody taste and rich scent. The honey is collected between September and November from areas with a wide variety of forest trees, including wild oak, pine and chestnut, which grow in abundance in the Arcadia region of the Peloponnese. It is the rich biodiversity along with the favorable climate and wide expanse of the region which yield such strong flavor honey. After being extracted from the combs, the honey is stored in large tanks before being cold packed by hand without the addition of artificial additives or flavorings.
TREA Honey is notable for its vitamins, minerals and phenolic compounds. High in antioxidants, it has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that are conducive to good health and support the defense mechanisms of the immune system.
